Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is the most successful natural cross in wine history: Cabernet Franc as father and Sauvignon Blanc as mother. From Bordeaux to the world, it is the backbone of the great wines of the Médoc, Napa Valley, and the most elegant parcels of Maipú and Vistalba in Mendoza. It is a grape with small berries and thick skin, naturally resistant to rot and highly versatile in terms of climate and soil. Its firm tannins and vibrant acidity give it exceptional aging potential — great Cabernets can age for decades, gaining complexity and softness. In Argentina it is often blended with Malbec, a combination that brings structure and complexity without losing Mendoza's fruitiness.
